Challenge of Me

I started a class on BPS(BigPictureScrapbooking) called the Challenge of Me. This is an exercise in trying new things and completing pages about me. This was my first assignment.
The first section is titled My Life, this is my section page.
I am working on 8.5x11" pages, which I have never done.
We were asked to use up our stash as well as:
Tear some paper
Use some ribbon
Use a stamp
Distress something
Use a pre-shaped paper
I did all of the above. The only one I didn't do was...
Use brads in a non-conventional way.
I will have to work on that one. I have 5 more layouts to do for this section so hang on, this will be fun!

Mojo Monday MOJO93

All materials are Stampin Up! (except brads)
Cardstock: Certainly Celery, Whisper White, So Saffron
Printed Paper:SU DSP Tea Party

Six Months

We now have about 6 months until the holidays are upon us.
Every year I say I am going to start early and avoid the December crazies. I think I managed one year.
This year I am going to be organized (see above) and ready when the good deals hit.
Not only do I have my family to shop for but my son's birthday and my nephew's birthday are just before Christmas.
This year I will be on top of it - not sweating it - and this cute organizer is going to help!

Do you want to make one too?

Supplies needed:
File folder
Assorted printed paper that you love
Mod Podge (at least that is what I use)
Ribbon
Stamps
Ink -whatever floats your boat.
Embellishments

I like to start by chopping off the tabs -but you don't have to.
Figure out the papers you will use and ink or paint the exposed edges.

Adhere paper

Add titles like:
Craft Projects
Christmas Cards
Menu Planning
To-Do List
Gift Ideas
Shopping List
Stocking Stuffers
Receipts

I actually made two of these. One has the first four titles listed and that one stays at home. The other one (the one seen here) has the last four titles and is going to go in my purse to keep with me when I am out and about. Do what works for you.
The lists I copied from this site: clicky
I hope you find it helpful.

Happy Father's Day

This is the card I gave my sweet husband. I love the colors and the use of patterned paper. I love when I find two different printed paper that are from different lines and they work so well together. I love it when that happens.
