LOVE...
SIGHT: of the mountains, rolling hills, big old beautiful trees left alone to grow, wild flowers
my baby boy's smile, my husband playing with the kids.
SMELL: babies out of the bath, home-cooked dinner prepared by Mom, the air after a soft rain,
men's cologne.
TASTE: the sauce from the gnocci dish at Piatti's, really good wine-food pairing, really good ice-cream slightly melted.
SOUND: my children laughing, really beautiful singing, Jackson Browne, an unexpected voice from the past.
FEEL: holding my honey's hand, snuggle with the babies, a tired body after a hard day of physical work, fabulous fabrics.
HATE...
SIGHT: violent TV, trash, neglected children, homeless, lonely people
SMELL: vomit
TASTE: beets, cilantro, vomit
SOUND: startling screams/cries, fingernails on the chalkboard, my mom crying, teeth sucking/grinding, chewing, drinking sounds.
FEEL: anyone touching me when I am sleeping, synthetic fabrics, hot.
